Who operates DepositKeeper
DefineYou operates DepositKeeper and is responsible for the product information and support channels described in this policy.
Records created in the mobile app
Property details, photos, condition notes, and generated PDF packets are processed and stored on your device. DepositKeeper does not require an account or upload these records to a DefineYou-operated evidence server.
Camera and photo permissions
The app requests camera or photo-library access only when you choose a capture or import action. Your device settings control those permissions and can revoke them.
Exporting and sharing
A record leaves the app only when you use an export or system share action. The destination service you choose applies its own privacy and retention terms.
Website request data
The website does not use advertising trackers or non-essential cookies. Hosting and security providers may temporarily process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, and requested path.
Retention, deletion, and backups
You control local records through the app and device. Removing the app or its data may permanently delete records, so export independent copies before resetting, replacing, or disposing of a device.
Security limits
DepositKeeper uses the protections available on your device, but no storage method can guarantee absolute security. Protect device access and share evidence only with recipients you trust.
Changes and privacy questions
DefineYou may update this policy when product handling changes. The revision date will change, and privacy questions can be sent through the support page.
